Incredible

I just want to say I've downloaded about 10 of your songs. I love the melody in this! I might even use this in a game I'm making.

Turning-Japanese responds:

Hey, I'm glad you're such a fan. Please feel free to use my stuff in your .. .stuff. And thanks for the review(s)!

Nice to hear some of your music again

You are probably the only Newgrounder I have heard who has mastered pop. This song here definitely takes some inspiration from buzz ballad, but is even better. The melody is catchy as heck and the instrumentation fits perfectly. Its also very well-layered with all the different instruments. Your stuff is always great!

Check out my new stuff too if you feel like it.

Turning-Japanese responds:

Wow, thanks for the responsive review. I definitely will return the favor and check out yourstuff!
Thanks as always sebby.

Nice remix

I definitely do like this better than the original. It has that happy carefree sound that is best about your work. Also, the various farm instruments and pianos are very interesting. Awesome stuff!

Nice pulsing sound

The drums really carried this song through well. The drum beat was an interesting take on drum and bass. I hate minimalist d'n'b, and i guess this is the exact opposite, and I love it. Sounds professionally done as well

Sounds like it came from a video game

This song has a great video game sound to it. At some parts its slower and not very boss battlesque, but that's fine. The melodies presented here are very well-developed and sound like they come from a classic video game. Good job!

And if you want, have a look at some of my stuff too

Juguito responds:

thanx
is video game music style

("battlesque" hehehehehe XD)

Excellent remix!

This song is great! I just love the speed and energy of it all, especially to the Zelda theme song. The progression was also good because you didn't just start out by playing the whole melody right then and there but rather played bits and pieces of it and then at the end finally combined all the parts. I think that's the reason why I liked this so much!

Mr-Dark responds:

Thanks! I enjoyed it a lot to create this song, but I've never been able to create something good anymore after this. Comments from you and all the other Newgrounds users inspire me to make more! Thanks for reviewing and re-inspiring me. Cheers!

Strange remix of the song

Hey, its been a while since you've submitted. Nice to see you back.

So for the song---- There are some parts of this that I like better and then there are parts of your older song that I like better. Mostly, I love the overall feel of this- I imagine elves making toys in a workshop or something like that. Everything sounds chippy and chirpy, the flutes, horns, and chimes especially. What I liked better in your other song was the buildup.

But really, if you look at everything on the whole, this song has much better mastering and diversity. After all, you haven't really done anything like this before (the instrument choice and all). I wouldn't say the song is quite "epic" but it has a cool orchestral feel. Good job with this song!

Very strange but cool

The vocals are very nice. I think that's what gives this song such a catchy feel. I like the gritty bass as well, it fits well. But also I think you should have added some more diversity to the song. I know its an experiment and all, but maybe you could have made different lines of voice or added a few synths or pads. Another issue, the buildup from 28 to 31 should have led up to something different rather than just a filter change. Like many of the other reviewers have said, this song seems like the beginning of a great idea. I've never heard anything like it, and for that alone, this style of distorted voices has some potential!
And thanks for reviewing my song.

Alright song

This song is decent, but could definitely be improved. Probably my biggest problem overall is the repletion. We hear basically the same note sequence all the way through the song with 3 or 4 instruments. At times you started to make the guitar or the bells more prominent, and that was good. For the guitar, I liked when you got somewhat of a solo going around 2:44, but you could have made it maybe more melodic and longer.

Overall, this song has no truly defining quality. Maybe you should try working on more powerful melodies and change them around along the way. But with what you had, it was alright.

Nice Stuff

This song is short, but sweet. Your choice of instruments is what makes this a great song. Thfact that I haven't heard instruments like these before in a DnB song shows originality and creativity. The loop could have been better, but that's fine, its still a great song.

I thank you deeply for visiting my page.
