Decent

I did like the bass and drums, but the synths were pretty boring and repetitive. I think you could have made it more upbeat because at times it seemed to drag on and just sound unmelodious. But good job for the first time using Reason, I know that my first song on Reason 3.0 wasn't great. Reason 4.0 is a great program, and with practice you should get better.
And also, check out my newest song Futureform if you have time.

Mad-Muppet responds:

Thanks for your review! I can see what you mean, and yes, the synths weren't the most exciting ones ever... But i think i've got the hang of Reason 4 now, so expect better stuff later :P
I'll check dat song out too :D

Nice Jazz, but could use some work

I really liked the piano, though I did hear some distortion especially when more than one note was playing at a time. For that you caught my attention from the beginning. Normally I don't like jazz but the melody really evoked some emotions (what they are i don't know). The drums were good as well. But I had some problems with the flute 3:34 on because it clashed with the piano. A little more variation with the main melody would have been nice as well.

Good job - and you use Reason, right? The flute sounds like one in Reason

Check out my newest song too.

Jurian responds:

Thanks, but it was in Fl, i'll check your stuff out.

Incredible

I just want to say I've downloaded about 10 of your songs. I love the melody in this! I might even use this in a game I'm making.

Turning-Japanese responds:

Hey, I'm glad you're such a fan. Please feel free to use my stuff in your .. .stuff. And thanks for the review(s)!

Nice to hear some of your music again

You are probably the only Newgrounder I have heard who has mastered pop. This song here definitely takes some inspiration from buzz ballad, but is even better. The melody is catchy as heck and the instrumentation fits perfectly. Its also very well-layered with all the different instruments. Your stuff is always great!

Check out my new stuff too if you feel like it.

Turning-Japanese responds:

Wow, thanks for the responsive review. I definitely will return the favor and check out yourstuff!
Thanks as always sebby.

Sounds like it came from a video game

This song has a great video game sound to it. At some parts its slower and not very boss battlesque, but that's fine. The melodies presented here are very well-developed and sound like they come from a classic video game. Good job!

And if you want, have a look at some of my stuff too

Juguito responds:

thanx
is video game music style
tha one i most like to do.

("battlesque" hehehehehe XD)

For sure ill listen tu your stuff

Excellent remix!

This song is great! I just love the speed and energy of it all, especially to the Zelda theme song. The progression was also good because you didn't just start out by playing the whole melody right then and there but rather played bits and pieces of it and then at the end finally combined all the parts. I think that's the reason why I liked this so much!

Mr-Dark responds:

Thanks! I enjoyed it a lot to create this song, but I've never been able to create something good anymore after this. Comments from you and all the other Newgrounds users inspire me to make more! Thanks for reviewing and re-inspiring me. Cheers!

Exactly what I like from you

Like your other songs, this one was great and indeed very catchy and melodic. It felt very dream-like with the strings in the background. I'm glad you won the 500 dollar prize for a good song in the Rock Out Competition, you deserve it.

If you feel like it, check out my audio, or also my game in the competition. Thanks!

Turning-Japanese responds:

I think I will! And thanks for the congratulations. I'm glad I won the 500 dollar prize too, so that's something we have in common. :-)

Nice! Nice!

I like the variation, especially in the drumming (which sounds crystal clear). There are some parts that you could have built up more, but instead you went back to thaat main melody thing. And im not saying it is bad, either, because it was really cool. Just greast stuff you got here- Reason 3.0?
You know, this song reminds me of my style, putting variation on the norm. I like it a lot!
However, trance really shouldnt be the catergory, well then again, i dont know what category besides trance it would go in!

So be sure to check out my stuff as well!

Spiked-Fox responds:

Yeah I know, I have one heck of a hard time figuring out in which category to post my songs everytime.

Nice job!

The intro was great, especially with the introduction of the bass. Once again, great synths, pads, etc. One complaint I have is the structure of this song is very reminiscent of your other tracks (solar flash for example). But overall, very dance-able and catchy!
And thanks for reviewing my new song!

Flashburn responds:

thanks for the review sebby

Nice stuff!

Cool song. Although i've never actually heard this tune before, it seems that you made it your own. I liked all of the cool synth stuff and the drums -they worked well together. And the clarity, WOW! It sounded so great!

Check out my stuff if you like.

cornandbeans responds:

I would like to!

There's a midi version online at vgmusic.com, but I would highly reccommend playing super mario RPG because it's such an amazingly awesome game! thanks for the review!

I thank you deeply for visiting my page.
